The Gold in the Shadows
Let’s start with my roots, I was born in the Netherlands to Hong Kong parents who made the bold move to the Netherlands in their twenties. As the eldest daughter, I became a bridge between two worlds—balancing the rich yet ridigd traditions of my heritage with the modern, sometimes clashing values of Western society. The pressure of being a pioneer for my siblings and the emotional turbulence of my childhood made me feel alone, scared, and misunderstood. In a home where I was both the scapegoat
and the golden child, I had a poor and inaccurate sense of self, low self worth and body dysmorphia.
At the age of 15, it was too much and I had to leave my childhood home, stepping into a shadowy period of abandonment and neglect that plunged me into a dark, lonely place.
In my adolence, I was determined to be successful. I was navigating the corporate jungle—juggling high-stakes projects for international companies, managing millions in budgets, and wearing a dozen hats in marketing, HR, and procurement. But amid the buzz of boardrooms and business trips, my heart was always somewhere else: wandering. Solo adventures across 40+ countries fueled my wanderlust spirit, with only my trusty Lonely Planet as a guide, no phone, and just the thrill of the unknown
Then in 2015, when motherhood arrived. No one had warned me that bringing a new life into the world would mean facing my own buried pain. But there I was, forced to reckon with my childhood trauma’s, heal the wounds, and love my way through it all. It was painful, messy, and transformative.
Thankfully, I got my wings with the support of incredible coaches, therapists, and transformative practices, I began to reconnect with myself—unlocking my natural gifts of clairvoyance and clairsentience. These gifts became my compass, guiding me toward my Soul’s purpose: helping others find clarity, healing, and their soul-aligned path. Today, I empower my clients to step into lives that are fueled by passion, purpose, and an unshakeable sense of fulfillment.
